Don Simkovich began his career in radio news and features switched to the grassroots nonprofit world where he had to recruit foster and adoptive parents to meet grant funding requirements. In the pre-Internet days, Don created a series of brochures and displays to source volunteers in Southern California while providing PR and creating strategic alliances. He’s consulted with businesses in the wholesale-retail, health and services to generate in-bound leads by creating blogs and ghostwriting books. He has interviewed business leaders throughout Southern California as an online business journalist and operates So Cal Content Writing. Don earned his Master’s in Communication Management from USC’s Annenberg School and holds a BA in English Writing and Speech Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.
